So Nice They Named It Twice

So I spent this last weekend in NYC! I had an amazing time, despite missing the warm weather in Nebraska for cold and wet weather in NYC.

We arrived Thursday afternoon, and quickly made our way down to Times Square! It’s literally just like it is in the movies.

Friday, Evan, Mackenzie, and I explored all nine floors of Macy’s in the morning. It took a while. In the afternoon, Ford and I attended a tour of the set of the Blacklist. It was an amazing experience and I’m so glad I got to see a tv show set!! (James Spader wasn’t there but it was still super cool.)

Friday evening me, Mackenzie and Evan went back to Times Square. It was snowing and raining and windy as heck, but we got to the Hard Rock Cafe.

Saturday, me, Mackenzie and Evan walked to Rockefeller Center. There we saw the US Olympic Gold curling team in the gift shop!! Talk about lucky timing!

We continued to Central Park, seeing Trump Tower and St. Patrick’s Cathedral along the way. By noon we made it to Central Park and the Museum of Natural History.

The IBS awards were at 5:00, and although we didn’t win first place, we still were in the top 5% in the country in our categories!

I definitely enjoyed my trip but was glad to get back to Nebraska where I could see the stars again!
